Metrics and Memories that Matter
Give Kids The World (GKTW) began in 1986 when former Holiday Inn franchisee Henri Landwirth resolved to build a place where children with life-threatening illnesses and their families could come to enjoy week-long, cost-free vacations.
The IHG Owners Association became a founding partner, and over the past 30 years our members have donated generously to the annual GKTW Foster A Fairytale fundraising campaigns, recently reaching a total of more than $1 million!
Give Kids The World Village has grown into an 84-acre, nonprofit resort in Central Florida, providing lodging, transportation, food, entertainment and countless surprises for families dealing with critical illnesses. To date, the Village has hosted more than 165,000 families from all 50 states and more than 75 countries.
